Campbell de Morgan Spots (Cherry Angioma)
Background
Cherry angiomas in darker-skinned individuals appear as small, bright red or purple spots on the skin, which may be less noticeable but can stand out against darker skin tones due to their distinct colour. These benign vascular growths are typically harmless and increase in number with age, commonly appearing on the trunk, arms, or legs. Treatment is generally not necessary unless they cause cosmetic concerns, in which case they can be removed using methods like laser therapy, cryotherapy, or electrocautery.
