Bedbugs

Background

Bedbug bites in darker-skinned individuals may cause raised, itchy welts that can sometimes be less visible but more prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The bites often appear in clusters or lines on exposed areas of skin, leading to significant itching and discomfort. Treatment includes antihistamines or corticosteroid creams for itching, along with thorough cleaning, vacuuming, and the use of insecticides or heat treatments to eliminate bedbugs from the environment.
